When Lauren and Gabe asked me to create the florals and photograph their late December wedding at the Hotel Sorrento I was thrilled. The Hotel opened it's doors in 1909, it's got charm and classy character, and during the holidays it's decorated to the nines with festive garlands and lights and trees.
The wedding of my friend, Marta, and her husband, Sam, was a romantic affair at the Fremont Abbey. Marta's Mother and some of her other family came all the way from Poland to attend the wedding. I was lucky enough to do both the florals and photography, and it was an honor to be a part of such a loving ceremony.
A truly intimate affair, these love birds tied the knot in a tiny nook in the woods near Carkeek Park.
Jamie and Scott asked me to come with them to their favorite place in the world, Canon Beach, Oregon to photograph their wedding. It was SO AMAZING! These two are both midwesterners full of life, love, and they know how to have a damn good time. Jamie was pregnant at the time and made the most beautiful bride. Scott made everyone laugh all day and I don't think his mustache has ever looked better!
Leah and Patrick, two of the smartest cats I know, got married on Pi day! They rented out a beautiful air bnb in downtown Seattle, their families flew in and they invited only a few of their closest friends. The ceremony was held in the gorgeous exposed brick studio, then everyone loaded into a party bus for dinner at Canlis. Afterward we went back to the ceremony sight for cake cutting (which the bride baked and decorated herself!) Then we headed out to the afterparty at a karaoke bar where a group of friends awaited the newleyweds.
